FAMILY PLANNING

MANASO advocates for improved family planning services in line with the FP 2020 commitments concept which states that “No parenthood before adulthood”. MANASO utilizes the current projects that it has on family planning and its presence in different family planning platforms to advance family planning commitments. Under the PAI project, MANASO works hand in hand with the Department of Reproductive Health to ensure an increase in the allocation of funds to family planning budget and a timely disbursement of the funds. Network members at district level are utilized to influence decision  makers to include family planning in District Implementation Plans. In addition, under the Options/WISH project, MANASO is focusing on sustainable supply of family planning services and commodities. The project advocates for inclusion of family planning budget in the district’s budgets to ensure consistent availability of family planning services.
