Brandina Mpombera is a holder of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Health. She is also a holder of an Advanced Diploma in Public Health. She has worked for Self Help Africa as an Enumerator. Her duties included but were not limited to mobilizing and engaging farmer field School members; collecting data from farmer field school members on household food security, food production and hygiene; and making recommendations based on the data collected. Brandina also worked as an Environmental Health assistant for 2 years at the Blantyre District Health Office. She conducted community entry meetings with relevant community partners and stakeholders; she collected data using ODK application in all health facilities of Blantyre and implemented water sanitation, food security and nutrition activities in Communities surrounding Blantyre. Brandina has experience and skills in managing WASH projects; community mobilization; data verification and consolidation; supervision and facilitation; project management and administration; guidance and counselling; provision of health education; conducting trainings in family planning. She has managed to engage, train and counsel multiple households on various health issues.
